    Frank T. Simpson House 

    Mr. Simpson was the 1st employee of CT Inter-Racial Commission in 1944 and then Executive Director. The Frank Simpson House is 1912 Tudor Revival with steep, half-timbered gables, bands of windows set in flat stucco walls. Simpson purchased house in 1952. This valiant pioneer who helped lead Connecticut's first civil rights organization resided in the house until his death in 1974.
