     Unity Barber Parlor

    Unity Barber Shop.jpg

Prior to moving from 715 Albany Avenue, [860 278-3888] in Hartford, CT 06112 to its new home on 444 Farmington Avenue, Unity Barber Parlor was a familiar site on near Upper Albany Avenue and Vine Streets, a community mixed with African American, Caribbean, and Latino shops and residents. The shop's new location sits among the buildings and dwellings of what was called Nook Farm. It was the location of the residences of Hartford's literary notables Harriet Beecher Stowe and Samuel Clemens better known as Mark Twain. Unity Barber Parlor serves a diverse clientele of children, women, and men.
